Thought I'd crunch some time on R@H wu's again but just found out I got 10 credits for 10 hrs of crunching time on a Phenom II X4 945. Sorry, can appreciate a joke but this is too much so I hopped to another project again. BOINC:: CPU time: 36161.4s Valid Claimed credit 388.351803321246 Granted credit 10.5259902693623 |

There does seem to be an issue here. 584971300 531234860 2 Jun 2013 1:29:13 UTC 2 Jun 2013 19:02:33 UTC Over Success Done 20,919.98 91.04 139.64 584723878 531007272 31 May 2013 19:45:22 UTC 1 Jun 2013 12:56:12 UTC Over Success Done 21,219.56 92.34 143.49 584327948 530642544 29 May 2013 18:01:53 UTC 30 May 2013 5:29:08 UTC Over Success Done 36,574.50 159.16 20.00 583998940 530344060 28 May 2013 0:34:57 UTC 29 May 2013 8:39:23 UTC Over Success Done 21,201.47 92.26 129.02 The highlighted wu stands out. Almost twice as long to complete, flagged as a success, and a miserly 20 credit. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

There does seem to be an issue here. There is a whole thread about the 20 granted credits, I think you are getting 20 credits as the unit was deemed 'bad'. https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=6183 Even though yours took longer it still seems to apply. One thing you might try is to upgrade Boinc to the latest 'release' version, you are a long ways behind right now. The recommended version for Windows is 7.0.64 now, and for Linux it is 7.0.65. I am NOT saying it will fix the problems, but it can't hurt. |

It is flagged as Sucess. I have not updated BOINC because I do not like some of the "features" in the more recent versions. The BOINC version should not affect the applications anyway. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Yes and no, as more 'features' as you call them are implemented more and more projects will modify their programming to make use of the parts that benefit them, the part we see is only a small part of the whole. But in general the version should not make a huge difference, such as the one you saw. It does look like you are back to normal for your credits, so maybe the unit was just a faulty one. |

I'm in agreement, but it's probably because it's considered more humanitarian than figuring asteroid collisions. The needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many. Or the other way around as appropriate. |

Thought I'd crunch some time on R@H wu's again but just found out I got 10 credits for 10 hrs of crunching time on a Phenom II X4 945. See I'm a goal oriented guy and am ALMOST there, meaning my time here is ALMOST up. Not quite but I am getting MUCH closer each and every day!! |
