Detach from the project and re-attach. I've added Roseta using my email+password —the same ones used to access my profile on the website— several times, both manually/individually and using BoincBAM — which happens to be the worst possible option, since none of the projects added this way even download work units. I also tried changing my email and re-adding the project, to no avail. Perhaps it's some incompatibility with Windows 11 and/or my new AMD CPU — I never had that kind of issue when I was using previous Windows (Vista, 7, 8.1, 10) and Intel CPUs (Q6600 and i7-4790k). That and Android, which keeps getting "computational error" on every single WU I get for Einstein, for example. |

That and Android, which keeps getting "computational error" on every single WU I get for Einstein, for example.I was able to attach my Win 11 AMD laptop 12 months ago with no issues. Some sort of corruption with the user account database/indexes is not out the realms of possibilities. The fact that you were able to attach to other projects without issue on your existing account, and the account you are posting with here doesn't show any other Projects, but that it does show a list of computers indicates it's most likely something to do with your Rosetta account. Unfortunately, there's no real way to contact the Project, and even when people have gone through the hoops by posting to email addresses listed on the University web site for those associated with the project, the response has been zero. Me too , I use a number of boinc servers to supplement my heating, exploiting overnight cheap electricity. I also prefer life science projects, but as you say, WCG, Rosetta, Denis & TN-grid all seem to be down or out of work units. I also run astronomy projects which are taking up the spare capacity - einstein is always a reliable source, but also asteroids (now back), gaia and milkyway |

I was able to attach my Win 11 AMD laptop 12 months ago with no issues. Good to know it's probably not an issue with my setup; it looks like some kind of issue with the database, indeed. The fact that you were able to attach to other projects without issue on your existing account, and the account you are posting with here doesn't show any other Projects, but that it does show a list of computers indicates it's most likely something to do with your Rosetta account. One possible "solution" would be to make a new account, then. I'm not really in a hurry to do that, especially considering WUs are currently few and far between, but I may get to it eventually.
That's a bummer… Anyway, thank you and everyone else who chipped in to try and solve my problem! |

It's probably the most redundant thing I've ever mentioned, but the front page Server Status section seems to be not working...Over a week and it's still stuck. Grant Darwin NT |

Yes, I got 16 tasks Oct 9, that has been finished and validated. The stats page says that there currently are 256 tasks in progress. |

I have not received any Mac units since 13 Sept. I have one Mac running Tahoe 26.1 and another running Catalina 10.15.7. Both stopped receiving new work on the same date, so I don't believe the issue is related to OS updates, at least on the older Mac. |

I was going to mention my work PC received 2 tasks 2 days ago, but I just checked again and, not only did it just receive a further 8 a few hours ago, but my phone picked up 2 as well. It looks like 20k tasks are now in progress, which were available for around an hour, but they've all been taken up by now. More than usual tbf Nothing for my main 2 pcs or backup phone. You were either lucky or you weren't

You were either lucky or you weren'tThe Graphs certainly tell the story. 120 users had work. A batch of 8,000 Tasks were released and those 140 got some, as did another 20 users. Then another 10,000 Tasks were released, but it doesn't look like any new users picked up any- just the existing 140 users. If work is available, you need to request it then and there as it doesn't last long. If you've already got work, then requesting more work is more likely to occur before it runs out again. Looks like not long after i posted this, a second much larger batch was released (20,000 or so), and this time a few others were able to get some work- an extra 550 or so.You were either lucky or you weren'tThe Graphs certainly tell the story. Which is still not many at all. Grant Darwin NT |

I suspect some users run a job that forces updates very regularly, rather than just hope Boinc polls at the right time, like I usually do Yes, some more after I posted. I tried to do a few more manual updates today, but I got no luckier

Some "chi angle" error More to the point, it was you who picked up all the tasks!

Amicable is providing work, but makes it difficult to let it use LESS THAN 100% of the CPU. WCG is providing workunits again, but seems to have a problem with automatically reporting of the results and getting more work. Workaround - manually report completion of the work after results are uploaded, then wait a few minutes for more work to download. Amicable will now allow you to adjust CPU usage once you finish one workunit and get it accepted. I have not checked if it still has a problem with adjusting CPU usage for new accounts. Another month with Rosetta not sending any work to my Windows computers. |

Anybody heard a rumor about when (if?) there will be tasks sent out?

Anybody heard a rumor about when (if?) there will be tasks sent out? No, but I've just come home and found 16 tasks arrive - but my buffer's full of siDock and WCG so can't get any more There's a few thousand still showing on the front page, but I expect they've gone by now The grafana page shows there have been tasks coming through in dribs and drabs for the last 5 or 6 hours, but hardly enough to keep many users going Not none, but not many Edit: I see 3 of your PCs have grabbed some of those tasks

Edit: I see 3 of your PCs have grabbed some of those tasks I seem to have kicked the sleeping beast with my question(s) and it's awakened. I've turned off WCG requests on some of the computers to try and get more Rosetta tasks.
